SAICsnewplantinthecitysPukouDistrict,withaninvestmentof2.57
billionyuan(US$377million),willbetheproductionhubforitssmall-capacity
engineandmid-classvehiclesundertheRoeweandMGbrands.ThefirstRoewe350
sedanrolledofftheassemblylineyesterday.
ThePukouplantwillhaveanannualcapacityof200,000vehiclesaswellas
250,000engines.
ItwouldbethethirdplantforSAICsself-developedvehiclesbesides

Chinasgovernmentwillissue26billionyuan(3.8billionU.S.dollars)of
book-entrytreasurybondsfromThursday,theMinistryofFinance(MOF)saidina
statementpostedonitswebsiteWednesday.
Thebonds,withatermofthreeyears,haveafixedannualinterestrateof
2.23percent,tobepaidoneveryMarch18till2013,itsaid.
Thefive-dayissuewillbethesixthissueofbook-entrytreasurybondsthis
year.
Book-entrybondsarethebondsrecordedintheinvestorssecuritiesaccounts
calledbookentries.Theycanbetradedontheopenmarket,andtheirmarket
pricescandeviatefromparvalue.</text>
